HOME AWAY FROM HOME  !!!!!!

We stayed in the Grande Villas condo for a week in July .

I would highly recommend it.

Don is very friendly and efficient.

The condo is beautiful, clean , and very relaxing.

Don, We can’t thank you enough . I want you to know the pictures you have on the website don’t do your place justice, the upscale of the decor and accommodations your condominium offers. I enjoy cooking and your place was completely ready for me to start cooking. We were only steps away from the pool , and sitting on the screened in porch with the water front . Being a Navy Brat , having my morning coffee while the sun was rising and getting a glimpse of the ships set off for their day was so impressive and brought back a lot of memories of my dad . The security guards are extremely friendly and helpful at all times. The families who live there full time or part time during our vacation went out of their way to welcome us at the pool and give us the best local places to try for food and fun. We met new friends , who have asked us to be sure to come back. That was so nice . We felt very welcomed and really had a great time. The Wesfalls

 

 

ALL IT'S ADVERTISED TO BE AND MORE ….  I’ll preface this review by saying that my wife and I have visited Myrtle Beach more than 30 times since the late 80’s and have stayed in several different places. All in all, the Bishop’s condo on the Waterway was one of the best. It is an outstanding location; quiet and relaxing, yet convenient to all Myrtle Beach has to offer. It’s only a couple of minutes from Route 501 and only about a 10 minute ride from the airport, Conway and the heart of all of the great restaurants and attractions. Located just off River Oaks Drive, away from the all of the MB hustle and bustle, it’s only a 5 minute drive up River Oaks Drive north to easy, convenient access to Robert Grissom Parkway, Route 31 and Route 22. The first-floor condo itself is very nice – both clean and well-equipped and has a wonderful view of the waterway, all for a very reasonable price. In addition, the owners do an outstanding job communicating with their clients; doing everything they can to assure a pleasurable stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay and plan to again stay at the Bishop’s condo and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a place that is not on the Ocean.

Clean, Comfortable, Convenient …. Second year renting this unit as a result of our great first year experience. This year proved to be even better with additional upgrades having been performed. The unit is clean, comfortable and convenient to everything offered by Myrtle Beach. Shopping, golf, beach, relaxation and sight seeing are all within minutes due to the location of great road access. Working with the owners is easy and pleasurable. I would recommend this unit to anyone who is looking for a clean, comfortable and convenient Myrtle Beach vacation property.

Condo is very well maintained, clean, comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen. Like home away from home. In a lovely quiet upscale area with great neighbors. Close to all shopping and restaurants. Loved being on the Inter coastal watching the boats go by.

We really enjoyed our stay at the condo. It was ground level with a screened in porch. Perfect for drinking coffee in the morning and playing games in the evening with the kids. It also had a nice grassy area out back for the kids to play soccer. The condo also supplied some games and books to read. Felt like home… Great for R&R time. The condo was very clean and well maintained. Don was excellent to work with. We will be back!

My family stayed at this condo during Thanksgiving. Great location for visiting our daughter at Coastal Carolina University but still close to MB shopping and dining. Mall is very close. The condo is very clean and had plenty of space for my husband, son and I. The complex is very private and quiet which we enjoyed. Thanks Don and Ellen for sharing your condo with us. Looking for a place on-line was difficult, especially when you don't know who you are really dealing with. Not only were Don and Ellen great to work with, their condo was superb! Great location…wonderful view (it was nice to sit on the patio, with a cup of coffee and watch the sun come up and not be bothered by bugs! Love the covered patio with the fans!) No traffic…quiet…yet easy drive to beach, Broadway at the Beach, and some wonderful shopping! The grounds keepers were very nice…really enjoyed the bridge and gazebo and watching the fish and turtles. And the beds! Wow, very comfortable which was an even bigger surprise. Clean, spacious and comfortable. The communication setting everything up with fantastic…quick responses and set expectations were fulfilled completely. I have found my Myrtle Beach home away from home! Thank you! Thank You! Thank You! Standing on the bridge located within the grounds…beautiful! Standing on one end and that's my brother chillin' in the gazebo!

My family and I had a wonderful time at the Waterway Village. The pool was open late, and the dock was awesome. We enjoyed watching all the different boats go up and down the Intracoastal waterway. We even utilized the tennis courts. Our condo was more modern then expected and we enjoyed the super comfortable couch and recliner. We were just minutes from Broadway at the Beach and the Cal Ripken Experience. We would definitely visit again!!!!!

Had a wonderful vacation. Weather was fantastic. Condo was spacious and very clean and comfortable. The grounds were beautifully maintained. The complex makes you feel safe and secure,because of the entry gate and the fact that the complex is well lit. The pool and hot tub were nice,especially after a long day sightseeing,being at the beach,etc. If you want a less crowded beach experience,I recommend taking the drive to Huntington Beach State Park.The beach is very clean and less crowded. This my first visit to Myrtle Beach,and won't be my last.

Don was great to deal with! Our experience was great, very relaxing, our kids loved the pool, we spent a lot of our time on the porch watching the boats, and jet skis go by. The morning walks were incredible walking around the condors on the sidewalks by the canal. The neighbors were very friendly. Our condo was very clean and very well organized. This year saw us in Don and Ellen's condo at Waterway Village for the eighth year running, and we'll surely be back. Each year, the condo feels amazingly fresh and well-cared-for. That's one of the key reasons we don't look anywhere else for our Myrtle Beach visits. The location is so handy for access to all elements of the area, the pool is just a step away, and we've never had a problem with the condo at all. The inshore waterway always has something of interest passing by, within yards, and the screened porch is just the place to view it from.

Enjoyed this lovely spacious unit during March Break. Great location close to Hwy 501, easy drive to shopping, restaurants, etc. Very quiet adult development, overlooking the Intracoastal waterway. Lovely screened porch for morning sun and view of boats going by. Unit is nicely decorated and kitchen well equipped. Great to have a washer and dryer in unit as well.

This is the first time we have not stayed at a beach front condo. However, loved the whole stay and everything about the condo. All kitchen appliances and cookware exceeded any we had ever had. It was very quiet and we felt really safe and secure. Also, it was very clean which is very important to us!! Being close to spots we visit was a plus and we hope to return. Don and Ellen were perfect in taking care of us in a professional way for All transactions. We do hope to return and may try out the 3 bedroom another time.  We were fully satisfied.

What a wonderful week we enjoyed at Waterway Village! The location was perfect for us as we visited our son who is in school in the area. We were able to take in some sights and events of the area and then relax in the wonderful condo. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay at your condo at Waterway Village. We appreciated all the amenities your condo offers. Our girls loved the pool and watching boats travel along the waterway. The weather was fantastic! We had fun fishing off Garden City pier and even saw some sharks! Our girls did the overnight camp – Sleep with the Sharks at Ripley's and had great fun! Our favourite place to visit is Broadway at the Beach. We really recommend dinner at Gordon Biersch Brewery at Market Common. The seafood was great and reasonably priced. We got some golfing in and got some great deals. We rented a jet ski from the BoatHouse Marina which was very exciting.  Many thanks for a great stay.

The condo is in an excellent location; within 10 minutes of everything. The condo was exactly as described online. The kitchen was well equipped and having the full size washer and dryer was wonderful. The outdoor pool, hot tub, and tennis court were all very nice. Don was very professional and promptly responded to all my inquiries. We definitely would rent again from the Bishop's.

The condo was just what we needed. Great location, very clean and all the amenities we were looking for. We liked being on the waterway. (I was wishing it was a golf trip with the golf course right there but it was a family trip!) Don was always very quick and professional with all communications. We enjoyed our stay at your Waterway Village condo.  It was great being right on the Waterway to watch the boats go bye.  It was very quiet and peaceful too.  The bed was very comfortable!  We enjoyed eating at Angelo's Steak n pasta (Early Bird Special) and Damon's which has a great view of the ocean.  This was a great place to stay and was very close to the Convention Center.  We appreciated that you don't allow smoking or pets.  Hopefully we will be back. 🙂

We enjoyed the week in South Carolina – our 5th stay in this Waterway Village condo.  We saw "Good Vibrations" at the Caarolina Opry – excellent show!  We recommend Mr. Fish Restaurant which is a great place to have lunch as well as the "Conch Cafe" in Garden City – great food and right on the beach.
